Grammar Lessons with Getti:

Here we have an instance of ‘then’ being used where a ‘than’ would be more appropriate. Not completely grammatically wrong, it just changes the meaning of the sentence, but I think it’s pretty clear from context that they meant ‘than’.

Remember kids, ‘then’ is referring to time passing.
‘Than’ is your appropriate choice for a comparison. 

There’s no easy way to tell them apart otherwise, but just proof-read stuff sometimes and eventually it’ll become second nature.
